I am absolutely FIZZING this morning. It could be due to this amazing smoothie. You know how strawberries can be a bit tart sometimes, well this is what I did (not on purpose). I left strawberries in an open bowl (not a closed plastic punnet) in the fridge for a week and they went all soft and dark in colour - not good for presenting on a platter, but they became really sweet and berryish for this smoothie.
a big handful of strawberries. handful of baby spinach leaves, 3 heaped tablespoons cacao powder, 2TBSP real maple syrup, 1 scoop Clean Lean Vanilla Protein Powder (dairy free), small handful of raw cacao nibs, distilled water and boom...blend that sucker.
